The Celebration of Death ~ a Black Rose

In some circles receiving Black Roses symbolizes a relationship that’s gone south; a shrewd way of saying, “screw you!”.

However for me, this gorgeous flower has a much more positive meaning; new beginnings, courage, Halloween and celebrating Death.

“He then greeted death as an old friend, and went with him gladly, and, as equals, they departed this life.”  The Three Brothers ~ Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1.
