I should really name this, “Soap Behaving Badly” although it turned out pretty sweet!
When fragrances go rogue which cause the batter to get thick very quickly, the only example I can give for this is a toddler. And if you are a parent you know exactly what I mean. As we know a toddler can be sitting one minute calm and dormant but know this, they are plotting their next move! And then when you turn your head, this toddler can take off like a shot into the next room as quick as a fart. Oh it’s true, it’s true!
When fragrances cause the ingredients to seize, they usually become as thick as concrete and eventually as hard as concrete. So the soap maker has to be quick on their feet and spring to action by scooping out the material ( which is very hot ) with their gloved hands which contains liquid colorant, pressing the clotted mixture in to a mold and shower it with left-over soap chunks. This process has produced a unique soap!
