The Lava Tubes at the Hawaii National Park (Big Island) was the inspiration behind creating this soap. In March 2016 my family and I flew to The Big Island for my in-laws 50th Wedding Anniversary.
Now normally I am NOT a tour person because I have a habit of getting bored and wandering off in my own direction which tends to piss people off because they have to stop and regroup. Was I bored on this particular tour to the Volcanoes National Park? In the words of Stone Cold Steve Austin, “Awww, hell no!”
On our tour we encountered what is called Lava Tubes and they are exactly what the name states, Lava Tubes. The Hawaiian Islands were created by volcanoes as we know. When the lava flows it is so hot that it burns through anything and everything at 2,000°. When it penetrates the earth, underground passageways are formed known as “pyroducts”.
